No Fourth of July celebration would be complete without a healthy dose of summer fruit. And while fruit is always fun, here’s a way you can add some extra flavor to your July Fourth fruit platter, and make it a little more festive in the process.

To create the perfect Red, White and Blue fruit offering, simply melt a serving of white chocolate according to the instructions on the package.

What you’ll need:

- Bakers white chocolate
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
- Red, white and blue sprinkles
Directions
- Wash a selection of strawberries and blueberries (raspberries, blackberries and even watermelon would work, too!).
- Set the berries aside to dry.
- Melt the white chocolate following package instructions
- Once the chocolate has melted, use a wooden skewer to dip the fruit into the melted white chocolate.
- Carefully slide the the fruit off the skewer onto a cake pan covered with wax paper.
- Have your children help you by sprinkling red, white and blue sprinkles onto the white chocolate as it’s cooling.
- Once the white chocolate has cooled completely, serve the colorful fruit to your guests and watch the fireworks begin as they bite into these festive and delicious treats.
