Easy Chocolate Snowflake Cookies Recipe

This recipe is fool-proof for an easy way to bake cookies with your kids! Baking with kids is fun, especially around the holidays. But it’s easy for a traditional recipe to go awry with lots of little hands in the kitchen. This recipe is fool-proof. Pre-made dough means easy clean-up and less mess. Plus, little ones won’t get impatient for the fun party decorating! So if any of your kiddos find this adorable Tiny Chef Baking Set under the tree, this cookie idea is a must. Start with a sheet of pre-made and pre-rolled chocolate sugar cookie dough. Use the flower shaped cookie cutter to cut 18-20 cookies and bake per package directions. Once cool let the decorating begin. Fill the kid-size bowls with mini marshmallow, sweetened shredded coconut or white sprinkles. Spoon white frosting into a plastic bag and snip one corner for easy frosting. Or have the kids use the mini spatula to spread frosting on to the cookies.

  • 1 package pre-made, pre-rolled chocolate sugar cookie dough
  • 1 cup white frosting
  • Mini marshmallows
  • shredded coconut and/or white sprinkles
  1. Cut and bake cookies according to package directions
  2. Once cool decorate with frosting, marshmallow, coconut and sprinkles.
