Funfetti Cupcake Cones Recipe

This just might be the most fun you will ever have making cute treats for a party…they’re quick, easy and oh-so-enjoyable to make!

Preheat oven as directed on your cake mix box.

Get a cupcake tray and put the cones in the cupcake spaces.

Prepare the cake mix as directed our Confetti Bowls will do the trick. Then pour the mix into the cones. Layer in the candy and the cake mix – like a yummy parfait! When you’re done layering, place the cupcake cones in the oven and bake as directed on your cake mix box. Check on them every few minutes just to make sure they are baking well.

Take them out and let them cool. These Funfetti cupcakes look especially festive on our kiwi Confetti Medium Serving Tray.

Cover the top with whipped cream or frosting.

And decorate with sprinkles.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Yield: 12 Servings

Ingredients:
Directions

  • Cake Mix (we used Funfetti, of course)
  • M&Ms, Reese’s Pieces, your choice of candy
  • Whipped cream or frosting
  • Sprinkles
  • Ice cream cones
  1. Preheat oven as directed on your cake mix box.
  2. Get a cupcake tray and put the cones in the cupcake spaces.
  3. Prepare the cake mix as directed and pour half of the mix into the cones.
  4. Layer in the candy.
  5. Use the remaining cake mix on top… like a yummy parfait!
  6. When you’re done layering, place the cupcake cones in the oven and bake as directed on your cake mix box. Check on them every few minutes just to make sure they are baking well.
  7. Take them out and let them cool.
  8. Cover the top with whipped cream or frosting and decorate with sprinkles. Enjoy your creative and fun treat!
