Breakfast for me is usually something that is really unhealthy. So I have been trying to come up with some new and different way to get a quick healthy breakfast in each day. While fruit, yogurt, and granola are great choices, I can only eat so much of that.

So of course a cinnamon roll is one of my favorite things for breakfast. How do you make it healthier? Well here’s an idea for you that only takes four ingredients.

Reduced Fat Cinnamon Rolls

  • Tube of low fat crescent rolls
  • Big marshmallows
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar

Simply roll out the crescent roll triangle. In the middle of each triangle place a big marshmallow. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar and roll tightly around the marshmallow. Make sure the edges are tight or the marshmallow will ooze out. Sprinkle the outside with more cinnamon and sugar. Bake per the instructions on the tube of crescent rolls. What makes a great companion to these cinnamon rolls are some yummy egg beaters. These are perfect for a quick healthy breakfast on the go. I tend to take them to work with me and heat in the microwave.
