Delivering Joy and Hope to Children
The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots program delivers joy and hope to children who are less fortunate by bringing them the gift of a new toy during the holiday season. The program was founded 65 years ago and has distributed more than 452 million toys to more than 209 million needy children in an effort to help develop our nation’s youth and improve our local communities.
Toys for Tots collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December each year, then distributes those toys as Christmas gifts with the goal that no child wakes up Christmas morning without at least one present under the tree.
Here at Zak Designs we try to participate in this wonderful program every year by encouraging our employees to donate as many toys as possible. And, from shiny new bikes to hundreds of dollars worth of toys, each year Zak employees exceed expectations by demonstrating the kind of generous and giving spirit that any business would be proud of.
